We have all heard the good news that our church and all churches will soon re-open. For several weeks now we have been preparing the church for this re-opening and have been in consultation regularly with the Archdiocese, along with all other parishes, with the plans we would need to make as well along with the procedures for re-opening.
While the parish has received the communication regarding the churches being asked to open this Sunday for private, individual prayer (but no Mass), we will only announce and post the plan and schedule for St. Leo the Great parish this Thursday, June 11 at 2:00 pm. following the Archdiocesan-wide webinar for all parish priests, staff and the Cardinal and other members of the re-opening team at the Chancery Office in Toronto.
We ask for your patience as we continue in finalizing our plans with a mind to the Ontario health norms, directives from the Archdiocese and the needs of our parish community. As well, calm and patience will be necessary for all of us as we re-open our parish life under the restrictions imposed on all of us at this time.
