Letter to Parents

Please follow the directions below to register your child for the 1st Communion Sacrament. There will be 2 mandatory sessions in preparation for 1st Communion at St. Leo the Great Parish.

Print and fill in the Registration Form and bring the completed registration form to the first session with payment in the amount of $50.00 student fee and copy of your child’s Baptism Certificate, if available.

1st Communion Sessions. All Catechesis sessions take place in the Hall except for Confessions which takes place in the Church.

Parents/Guardians will drop their child at the Hall and pick them up for all sessions. Please ensure that your child has a snack and water bottle for each session.

• Saturday, May 30th: Catechesis in the Church Hall. (9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.) 
• Saturday, June 6th: Catechesis in the Church Hall. (9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.)
• Sunday, June 7th: Celebrations will take place during Mass (9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.)

Kindly refrain from calling the office unless it is absolutely necessary. You are advised to send your email to stleosacraments@gmail.com. Please note that there will be a collection during the offertory at our Sunday Mass Celebrations, as on regular Sunday Masses.

The pastor will consider exceptions in a difficult circumstance, regarding the reception of the sacrament. Please note that there will be one period in which we prepare for First Communion this year.
