First Communion

1st  Holy Communion Sacrament 2024 

(Two group option A OR B – Please choose one group only) 

 To: St. Leo the Great Parish  

Dear Students and Parents, 

Please follow the directions below: 

 Print and fill the REGISTRATION FORM, found online, on our website. Please bring the completed registration form to the first session. Also provide a copy of your child’s baptismal certificate. The fee is $50.00/ student.  

For preparation sessions, kindly have at least one adult accompany your child. Students are divided into groups A or B. Please indicate your group preference and phone number in the registration form. Students must complete all sessions in their group of choice. 

Group A (8-14 April 2024): 

Info/Catechetical Sessions : At the Parish Hall at St. Leo the Great 

Monday April 8: (registration/ info: 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.) 

Tuesday April 9, Wednesday April 10, Thursday April 11 and Friday April 12: 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. 

Confessions: (Individually) Saturday April 13, from 9:00 – 10:30 a.m. in the Church 

Celebration: Sunday April 14, First Communion Mass at 2 p.m. 

Group B (15 – 21 April 2024): 

 Info/Catechetical Sessions: At the Parish Hall at St. Leo the Great 

Monday, April 15: (registration/ info- 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.)  

Tuesday April 16, Wednesday April 17, Thursday April 18 and Friday April 19: 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. 

Confessions: (Individually) Saturday April 20, from 9:00 – 10:30 a.m. in the Church 

Celebration: Sunday April 21, First Communion Mass at 2 p.m. 

 Bring your questions and concerns to the first session of your group of choice. Kindly refrain from calling the office unless it is absolutely necessary. You are advised to send your email to stleosacraments@gmail.com. Please note that there will be a collection during the offertory at our Sunday Masses. 

The pastor will consider exceptions in a difficult circumstance, regarding the reception of the sacrament. Please note that there will be only two sessions and two celebrations this year.
